Team Frey, First Repeat Winning Team
After 20 tournaments, The 616 Swiss Trios has had repeat winners, but never a repeat team. At Roxbury on Sunday, Team Frey swept Team Winchell in game 8 to win for their 2nd time. Once again, Ricky Frey leads his team, undefeated (2 ties) and a 207 average, 4th highest of the day. Daniel Nadasky bowling in the middle of the line-up, averaged 9 pins higher than his entering average. The middle spot has proven to be an important position, and a key to winning.
Bowler of the Tournament was Anthony Escalona receiving 14 votes and 3 others receiving 5 votes each. Anthony won a $20 gift certificate from Lowes and a 2-ball tote bag.
After the Paradise tournament last week, I got a couple phone calls and a post on NWBowling.com, telling me how much they enjoy the tournament and the atmosphere the 616 presents. I truly appreciate the feedback. Each bowling center we go to the staff is professional and very helpful and caring to our needs. Roxbury Lanes was no exception. They are at the top in customer service and appreciation. The 616 staff always feels welcome and looks forward to coming back to Roxbury. Thank You!
Next Tournament is at Lynnwood Bowl on December 2nd. Those that bowl the Tacoma Masters and do not make the cut, can show up Sunday, be exempt of the $15 late fee, get $5 off entry and receive $5 in "Show Off" pot tickets.
