Bob Mosier First 616 Repeat Champion

 

     "Now I have a 7-10 split on my mantle" an excited Bob Mosier replied as he posed for the Championship picture. Rafael explained he was "just going for the ride" as Shane and Bob rolled over their opponents. The shot was not easy, as the 42 player field bowled on a 38' gutter pattern, tournament average was a mere 182. That is 20 pins lower form previous tournament's 202 average.

    Shane Youells explained how good it felt to average 209, and bowl well, on such a tougher pattern. "Tougher than what bowlers are used to seeing." Shane also won Bowldoc's Bowler Of The Tournament with 24 votes to runner up Tony Clawson and Chris Caseman with 6 votes each.

This tournament also paid out $450 in "Show Off Pot" monies to Mike Finnestad ($216), Mike Bradley ($169 total), Daniel Nadasky ($24), Glen Brown ($21) and Michael Wittig ($20). That is a total of $3563 in prize fund money to just 14 teams entered, including the $99 to highest 8th game out of cash paid out from NW Home Designing. Note: Tony Clawson won $15 bonus Bucks for his Monster Bracket #2 win, a total of $95 with a $10 entry, which he receives for being a 616 member.

Next Tournament will have $500 added to the prize fund by Magic Lanes and Casino on March 4th at Magic Lanes. (Get Directions here). Spots are limited to just 24 teams, so please get your $60 reservation to Marty to guarantee your spot. Also, remember, Finals at Acme Bowl, teams are required to have 2-616 members (you can pay the one time $20 fee) and have at least one member on that team with 3 tournaments bowled. Acme will have $1500 added to the prize fund.
