East Versus the West

Team Richards battled Team Johnson (aka Team Frey) 4 out of the 8 games at Kenmore Lanes. This time it was Team Richards coming through in the clutch. Rob Richards went undefeated through the first 5 games until losing in game 6 to Ricky Frey. Rob lost his point but doubled in the tenth to get team total for 2 points, making it a 4 point swing. In game 7, Team Richards took 4 points and locked up their second win of the season.

 

          Shawn Heese shot his first 300 in the first game and won $160, Kenmore Lanes had added $100. Bob Hanson came close shooting 279 in the first 2 games and Mike O’Brien shot 288 in game 6. O'Brien was also voted as Acme Bowler of the Tournament and won $50 cash.

 

          Bob Hanson defeated Rich Eaton in “The Duel”40 to 28 for $50. The Show Off Pots paid out $241 with Daniel Nadasky coming close to picking up the attendance pot just missing the first challenge, then picking up the 2-9-10 for $21.

 

          I would like to thank Kenmore Lanes and Marty Cocking Jr. for taking good care of us on Sunday. Kenmore has 48 lanes and is a perfect place to have and to run a tournament. Thanks for the support!
